I noticed that there are so many resources for games accessibility out there, but nothing centralised, updated with new information and links regularly, and open for others to submit links to.
The Games Accessibility Knowledgebase or the GAK for short, aims to fix this issue by being a live, centralised location for the endless and ever evolving information and knowledge regarding games accessibility.
It’s a huge labour of love, I manually check for new links regularly, and have to set aside time to curate new additions, as well as looking at improving the resource for the future, as Notion is unfortunately not accessible with a screenreader!
Democratising access to resources is hugely important to me, and games accessibility is such a proven win all round, it made sense to open it up.
