Harriet is a professional accessibility and disability inclusion consultant for the games industry, with a core background in project leadership, games production and design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Committed to meaningful and impactful visibility and representation of disabled and neurodivergent people in the games industry, Harriet leverages her lived experiences as a disabled and neurodivergent woman from a low socio-economic background to educate and inform, building a better, more inclusive future for the games industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m a passionate mentor and champion of neurodivergent and disabled voices in the games industry, delivering workshops and talks on empowering neurodivergent people and finding your own voice.

I promote neuroinclusion and neuroaffirmative cultures, and have given talks on how studios can improve their company culture and promote true diversity.

I also work to improve intersectional equity of access to games industry events, both online and in person.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

With a background and education in game design & production, I’m able to expertly advise on the right times to make key decisions in the development process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My understanding of the dynamics of different disciplines helps me communicate accessibility to the right audiences.

I’m also ICAgile certified, which helps me able to integrate solutions in modern, dynamic teams, and especially gears towards implementing inclusive design sprints.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A confident public speaker, I’ve given talks on freelance accessibility consulting, inclusive design practices and introductory webinars, reducing barriers to studies of all sizes in their journey of games accessibility.
